With ASP.Net 2.0, I have setup a custom login screen that first
authenticates against and SQL membership provider and if that fails,
against an Active Directory provider. I'm wanting to have one SQL
role provider for both these membership providers.
Is this possible? If so, can you give me a link or some information on
how to set this up. I have the multi-membership provider working
properly.

Nevermind. I just couldn't use the Web Site Administration Tool to
manage the roles. I had to manually call the
Roles.AddUserTo Role(username,r olename) method.

An app that was chuntering away quite happily to itself had roles
added to it. Just two: Admins and Subscribers.
However, I seem to have mucked up when assigning the role provider in
the Web.config file, as I just left the default, whereas in members,
this was modified to use our online database (details below).

The situation is following: I use DB2, so I wrote custom role +
membership providers.
Membership provider seems to work. I use forms authentication, so as
articles say, I need to do some magic to be able to get roles for
current user, because microsoft mechanism works only for windows
authentication...

and verify file transmissions. Each client will need their own logon, in
addition to a way to assign each user a unique customerid. All users
beloning to the same custeromid would see the same information on the
