callback and why should people go on Atlas rather than on the ASP.NET

This is just a how to question that I'm hoping someone can answer. Is there
anyway to update the page cashe after performing a partial page update using
atlas so that if someone leaves the page and then presses the back button the
page will reflect the last update that was done under atlas.

I wanted to hear people's opinion who have used Atlas on their project.
My project does all niffty ajax stuff, but I found that the js file
included with asp:ScriptManager is actually 360k in size! The page
takes a long time to load, and the heaviness of atlas script should be
one of factors affecting the performance.
