I imported a projected I created in VS2003 to VS2005 beta 2. The
project builds just fine, but throws an ArgumentException (cannot bind
property...) when I add a control to a Controls list. When I comment
out all my simple data bindings obj.DataBindings.Add(property,
dataSource, dataMember), it runs just fine, but without binding. Any
ideas why this would work fine in VS2003 but not in VS2005?

Let me preface by saying that I like VS2005. It improves on many things
lacking in VS 2003 and takes pretty much nothing away. Having said that, I
am a little underwhelmed by it.
Despite a couple of some new controls, there is still a dearth of quality
controls to build even a rudimentary "Windows" app. For instance, MDI is a
technology that was deemed passe in 1995 by Microsoft itself (11 years
ago!!!)... yet we have to build tons of...

We've got a bunch of apps that we've migrated from Net 1.0 to Net 2.0.
The apps were basically upgraded using the VS2005 migrate. The user control
that was using a DataGrid.IsSelected(i) in the original (Net 1.0) to find
the 'Highlighted' rows in a datagrid is working fine.
I've tried adding the DataGrid.IsSelected(i) code into a second migrated app

I install Visual Studio 2005 Pro on Vista. I open and migrate a 2003 web
project to 2005. I attempt to browse an aspx file from the Solution Exploer.
It displays a blank html page.
I create a master page with 3 content placeholders. I create a WebForm that
uses the master and then browse it to have a look. I get an empty html page.
I change from the IIS to the internal server. No change. Only displays
blank page.

I have a fairly basic VB.NET application that I converted from VS2003 to
VS2005 and now it crashed the VS2005 IDE pretty regularly while trying to
use the form designer.
I've removed any 3rd references in my projects and recoded methods to remove
any deprecated functions.
Anyone have any suggestions?
