I have to questions about SiteMaps
1st) Is there any way to use a wildcard in the SiteMapNode?
I'd like:
testpage.aspx?Type=Fruit&SubType=Apple
and
testpage.aspx?Type=Fruit&SubType=Orange
to show resolve the same. The subtype has many possibilities and is passed

Hi.
I'm using VS2005 Pro to work on a website project for my company.
The site has several navigation elements, all based on the standard VS2005
navigation components.
I have high-level section navigation provided via a horizontal menu, a
SiteMapPath to provide a breadcrumb and a vertical menu component on the
left edge.

Hi everyone,
I'm having a bit of trouble understanding the purpose of escaping
nulls, and the use of addcslashes.
Firstly, the manual states that:
"Strictly speaking, MySQL requires only that backslash and the quote
character used to quote the string in the query be escaped. This
function quotes the other characters to make them easier to read in

I have a .NET 2.0 web site that is made up of .aspx pages that are
done in the Clasic-ASP-looking "inline method".
I need to add a SiteMap Control to the pages in the site, and need to
see an example of how to do so, since there is no codebehind or
compiled thing to use.
Thanks.

Hi guys,
So the ever-lasting problem has remained until now - how to create a dynamic sitemap from information stored in a database.
Microsoft's MSDN magazine covered how to do this using a custom-made class in C#, specific table architecture and a couple of database triggers (plus how to deal with caching on SQL Server 7 and 2000 - MSSQL 2K5 automatically deals with cache dependencies which handles new sitemap layout and/or content, which...

Hi all,
This is probably the most stupid of stupid questions being that I have been
unable to find very much out online so far about it...anyway...
I am creating a master page as a template for our teams applications. I
have added a sitemap control to it, having read that if the URL's were
copies or didn't exist it would error (MSDN site told me this) , I was
looking for a way to capture the error and be able to report in a more...

optparse seems to be escaping control characters that I pass as
arguments on the command line. Is this a bug? Am I missing
something? Can this be prevented, or worked around?
This behaviour doesn't occur with non-control characters.
For example, if this program (called test.py):
from optparse import OptionParser
parser = OptionParser()
parser.add_option("-d", dest="delimiter", action="store")

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
