aspnet_wp.exe event 1007 and 1084

Hi,

Read many posts online regarding problem with aspnet_wp and event 1007
\ 1084 "aspnet_wp. exe 1.143220 could not be started. This error can be
caused when the worker process account has insufficent rights to read
the .NET framework files...." - "aspnet_wp. exe could not be launched
because username and\or password supplied in processModel of config
file are invalid". Using machine and autogenerated. Also using WinXP
and IIS 5.1. Tried aspnet_regiis -i and no dice.

Is there an official fix for this problem (a patch \ update) ? I'm not
too keen on giving aspnet_wp admin \ SYSTEM privileges (i.e. giving
ASPNET more access than they need).

Hi all. I'm having a nasty problem. A client's website was originally written with classic ASP. They requested a new portion of the site that was deemed a perfect candidate for ASP.NET. So, .NET was installed on their web server and one of the subdirectories in the web site was converted to a virtual application to support the new pages...

Hi All, I am trying to debug a strange problem of duplicate entries in my database when I came across the following errors in the event log (see bottom of mail).
