I have a form I want to submit to itself. I want to be able to type in a
list of numbers and submit the form and have that list show up on the same
form under the text box I typed them into and the buttons. The problem is
when I post a form to itself, the Enter key will not submit the form, it
only clears the contents of the text box. The only way I can submit is to
click the submit button. Here is a simplified version of my code that I...

I have TWO submit buttons of type IMAGE on my asp form. This renders as
<input type="image">.
I need to be able to eble the ENTER button for both buttons. Yes, I know
that for the input type image, the submit happens automatically to the
server. Heres my problem:
I have two event handlers for both these buttons as stated below:

Here's some code that I'm using to create a simple list of logical drive
letters (my web application impersonates a user). I'm finding that my event
handler doesn't fire. Can anyone give me a hint as to why it doesn't work?
It's nearly a copy of some sample code that I lifted from a friend, whose
code works (so he says!). By the way, I'm using a dotnet Table control in
the ASPX page which starts off empty, it's ID is dirTable.
By the...

This is a solution... Often users want to keep clicking "submit" when
they are waiting for server processing. Most apps these days like to
disable the submit button to prevent this. You can't just disable the
button in the OnClick event in ASP.Net because then the Click event
won't post to the server (because you disabled it). I searched google
groups, and there is a solution to this problem, but I didn't think it
was clean enough and...

I have a function that is called when the user clicks the submit button,
during this function i also set a varaible to "Y" due to that this function
does a post back to the page then redirects. When I look for the session
variable in the page.isPostBack section it equals nothing, it appears that
the variable is not being passed to the post back section correctly. I have
this due to I only want this function to run if the user has something...

Hi,
Can anyone help. This is really doing my nut in. 3 years ASP exp. and
now doing .DOT which is a step in the wrong direction.
Basically I am left with the code of a guy who has left. When I click a
button on a pop-up window the javascript for that button click does a
'button.form.submit'. On the Server side there is a Button click event
for this button, but for some reason it no longer fires. It worked fine
before and everything...

I know I know, why would I want to submit the form from server-side code, if the only way to get to the server-side code was BY submitting the form. But that's just it, when the code-behind page_load event fires it doesn't really "submit" the form as I would like it submitted.
Here's my problem, I made a shopping cart for a website, and to get the information securely paid for I need to send a form to paypal using method="post" and...

Hi I've a development server, where I've set up and copied the code (ASP.NET 1.1 webapp in .NET 2003) from an existing QA server. But I'm having issues, seeing my code changes. When I make some change (aspx or code behind) and build the code, I'm not able to see the changes unless I deploy the dll in deploy directory, even when i'm executing the code in debug mode. i'm able to see the changes reflected when i open the url as...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
