Web Server configuration details for .net framework 3.0

Hi all,

Can any one tell me the site where I can find the minimum
configurations required for a web server for .net framework 3.0 to
run?

The configurations like what IIS version doe this support... What is
the IE version required for this to run in the client.
What is the hardware configurations of web server and client systems
that is needed for .net framework to run?

Thanks in advance.
Swapna.

A simple Google search of 'framework 3.0 requirements' provides most everything
you need. Your first few questions are answered by MSFT's deployment guide:

I give up! I've installed a new 2000 Server machine with the .NET framework 1.1. When I create the simplest for .aspx pages (nothing but a paragraph with "test" in it and no codebehind page) and try to view this page I get the following error. I've checked the security settings for the ASPNET user' s "temp" directory and they are OK. The ASPNET user does have "Impersonate a client after authentication". Where else do I look? Thanks

Hallo, Have just created a small ASP .Net App with VS 2003 for the first time in years. After Building a release I proceed and uploaded my folder onto the wwwroot. The aspx pages just throw an error. The Htm pages are visible. The error page is the plain old application error page with info on how to set the customErrors in the webconfig. I cant even redirect to an errordefault page as that doesn´t work either.

Hi All! I have a ASP.NET 2.0 site that works on the Windows 2000 Server. However, when I tried to view this site on my local Windows XP machine, I get "Server Unavailable". If I switch the Windows XP IIS back to ASP.NET 1.1 then I get the Configuration Error (which is understandable because I'm trying to run an ASP.NET 2 site with 1.1 framework). I can however view other ASP.NET 1.1 sites on my local Windows XP machine. It's only the...

My employer is starting to take the first steps towards migrating its Classic ASP codebase to ASP.NET v2.0. We have a copy of our existing website on the new Windows Server 2003 R2 test server, and everything is running fine. However, when I create a simple "HelloWorld.aspx" file, then browse to the page from VS.NET 2005 on the same machine, I get the following error message: ================================================ Server...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
