I installed SQL Server, created a database for a sql server user and
noticed that the user has access to the master database even though the
checkbox for master database for the user login is not checked.
They can list sysusers and find out all the names. They can list all the
databases as well by using sp_helpdb.
Is this normal behavior?
If I check db_denydatareader and db_denydatawriter in the master database
for that user, will that...

Sorry, I probably should have re-stated the problem:
We're using Python 2.3.5 on AIX 5.2, and get the follow error messages
from some of our code. I haven't yet tracked down exactly where it's
coming from:

Hi guys,
this is a curios thing, everything was working fine then I had to restore my
development machine( VS.NET, SQL server etc) now I'm receiveing this error
from my asp aplication only in RELEASE mode, but everything works good in
DEBUG mode, this is happening when I run my app against my local SQLDB and
against a hosting DB.
EXECUTE permission denied on object 'sp_sdidebug', database 'master', owner
'dbo'.

Hi,
I have tried to create a new DB on the SQL Server but unsucessful..
I have looked at the microsoft "How to create SQL Database in vb.net", but
it doesn't seems to solve my problem.
below is the connection string that i used to create, but i get error saying
login has fails. I am sure the login works because i can read out data from

what I need is is when a visitor comes to the site, I need it to check
the host name. if "www.hometowndigest.com" is the host, then check a
folder named "something" and if the folder does not exsist, create
folder "www" and then copy folder "temp" and its contents.
If the folder "www" is there, look in it, check to see if the files in

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
