All,
I am currently developing an FTP class in VB.NET. It's kid tested,
mother approved when trying to access an FTP Server on a Windows box
meaning I can connect, run commands, upload and download a file no
problem. My issues come when I try to use the same class with the same
commands to access an FTP server on a UNIX box. I can connect and login
just fine, but after that all my commands come back "500 'PWD': command
not understood."....

I have a dialog application that is created using VC++ 6.0 and a Windows form application using .NET 2003. I'd like to access the Dialog from the form. I have tried every thing I know to write a wrapper class for the dialog class but failed. Would someone here help me out on this?

I have a Web Farm, that fetches its database-data from a separate
database-server. Today I was forced to go over to .NET 2.0 (since 1.1
can't be installed on Windows Vista x64), and it brought about quite
alot of problems. But now I've sorted out everything except one
problem that I just can't get to disappear:

Question about putting the data layer in a separate class library.
I keep reading that the data layer should be separated from the
presentation layer and put in its own class library. I am trying to
