Hello,
I created a SQL server 2005 (express) database from the VS2005.
I can create table and so one.
To manager the database, it's easier use "SQL Server Manager Studio" but
it's impossible to attach because the path is :
C:\Documents and Settings\MeMy Documents\Visua l Studio
2005\WebSites\W ebSiteTest\App_ Data
Then I make a copy to C:\ but impossible to attach because the DB is
readonly.
If I can attach the right way it's make the change and copy to
C:\Documents and Settings\MeMy Documents\Visua l Studio
2005\WebSites\W ebSiteTest\App_ Data
Last question, to put the web site in production the database have to be in
/App_data or in the SQL Server data folder ?

1) Can you manage a SQL Server Express installation from the regular
SQL Server Enterprise Manager? I am getting a message that says "SQL
Server does not exist or access is denied" when I try to register the

I've been used to deploying code to the production server by checking
out of subversion and manually sorting out any kinks. (yes, I know, it
sounds primitive)
I realize I'm losing so much time I could spend more productively. I'd
therefore like to know the different approaches you guys employ to

I have a client who wishes to upsize an A97 system from Jet backend to
SQL Server 2000.
They have up to 4 users.
Will they need to buy the minimal 5-seat SQL Server product, or would
it be cheaper to upsize the front end to A2K, A2K2 or A2K3 and use the
version of SQL Server provided with that?
The system uses local tables extensively and I would not want to
disturb this.
Enterprise manager would be a requirement.

I have VStudio2005, SQLServer 2005 dev edition loaded on a windowsXP Pro
machine.
I installed it ok. I just attempted to load the Personal Web Site Starter
Kit (I downloaded off Microsoft's site) to use with VStudio 2005 --
