Has anyone encountered (and solved!) this problem?
I have an Access database on a commercial ISP. There is an ASP
page/script which creates a recordset from the database and then
writes a file which can be downloaded via the standard HTML Anchor
element.
This has been working with no problems for months but now we sometimes
see files which are truncated, ie as if not all records in the
recordset were output.

Hi everyone,
I'm using VS.NET, Framework 1.1, Windows 2000 Server, IIS
5, all the latest patches are installed.
Im having this wierd random problem, that I cannot
reproduce but it happens quite often:
- my Request.Form collection is truncated in some posts
(again I dont know why or how to reproduce it).

my scenario is
i ve upgraded my asp application to windows 2003 +IIS 6.0 + virtual
SMTP server enabled environment from win 2000.
so i need to update the mail procedure too.(becox i used CDONTs
previously which is not supported in win 2003 by default).i have coded
my mail sending script using CDO. The problem i am now facing is the
mail message which is generated by my application is get truncated at

I have a page that creates dynamic hyperlinks for each recorded
displayed. Many of the constructed URLs exceed 128 characters. Those
that with greater than 128 are truncated for some reason unknown to
me. I know that IE supports URLs up to 2048 characters. Is there a way
for me to create and use longer URLs in my ASP dynamic links?

hi:
i have an asp.net 1.1 app. when i visit the site with my normal browser (ie7
on xp), i get 'default' info in the request.browser object (Type = Unknown,
Name = Unknown, Version = 0.0, etc.). when i visit with firefox or safari,
the results come back as expected. i've also used 'fiddler' to set my user
agent string to ie7 and 8 and, here also, success.
as far as i can guess, it seems that my user agent string gets 'choked' upon...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
