I want to display 'n' records for a table-driven data entry page.
The first column should be readonly and the 2nd column, a checkbox WRITABLE
(NOT READONLY).
I can't use the gridview because it creates -> checked="checked"
disabled="disabled"
What I need is more like this;
<form id="form1" runat="server">
<div>
<table>

Hi All,
I am using Link Button for DELETE on the gridview. When I click on
DELETE link, I get the ArgumentOutOfRangeException. But...it deletes
the record from table in the database.
On Gridview_rowdatabound, I am dynamically building hyperlink control
based on the values in the other fields. Here is my code for
Gridview_rowdatabound. It does work sometimes though.

I have a Gridview control with a Databound Hyperlink. e.g.:
<asp:HyperLinkField HeaderText="MyTitle" DataNavigateUrlFields="MyID"
DataNavigateUrlFormatString="~/ShowMe.aspx?MyID={0}"
DataTextField="MyTitle" SortExpression="MyTitle">
With Norton Ad Blocking turned "Off" this works fine.
Turn Norton Ad Blocking "On" and the rest of the Gridview displays, but any
Hyperlinks have gone!

hello,
based on a client login I call a GridView that presents the appropriate
questionnaire for that person. I added three columns (template fields)
to the gridview that are radiobuttons. The client has to choose one
radiobutton per row (either YES, NO, or PERHAPS). Yes would have a
value of 1, No 2, perhaps 3.
1) I need to restrict the choice to one of the three radiobuttons ?
2) Need to insert the client's choice for every row in...

Hi
I have a GridView that is displaying master records. Some of these records
have child records.
I would like to a column to my master GridView such that for each master
record that has detail records, it displays a hyperlink that then takes the
user to the details page. If a master record doesn't have any children, I
just want it to display its ID with no hyperlink.

Hi, I have a ASP.NET 2.0 Web Application. Many of the pages use the ASP.NET
GridView with paging and sorting.
One of the columns of this Gridview is a template column (LinkButton). The
data being retrieved and showed in this GridView produce more than one page
of data.
A given user clicks on the first row hyper link on the Grid on the first
page, then the first row hyper link color changes to look as "visited".
Then the user navigates to...

The text below is a GridView I am trying to use to display some data from a
database. I am using one templatefield of grid because I want the contents
of the record fields to appear on three different lines.
Everything works except I now want to add an image with which acts as a
hyperlink to another page. The querystring to the new page is a field from
the database. What I cannot get right is the syntax to build the Hyperlink
to the...

This seems like it should be simple to do but for some reason I have
been unable to make it work.
I would like to databind a SqlDataSource to a GridView during the
click event of a button. This sounds easy but the next requirement is
that the GridView is editable. So I have included the SelectCommand
and the UpdateCommand on the SqlDataSource to allow the GridView to be
editable. I have now been able to get the GridView to display data...

I got into trouble with this problem.
The data I am presenting in a GridView control has a column called
"Website". That data comes from a stored procedure in SQL Server
2000. Most of them have valid http urls. But some of them say
"None" or "Not available".
In the GridView, I would like create a hyperlink for those valid http
urls only, and simply plain-output those which say "None" or "Not
available".

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
