Hi all,
I am trying to create a username and a password class.
I would like to know what are the RECOMMENDED minimum and maximum length
for both fields?
These fields will be something like this:
private static final int DEFAULT_MINIMUM_LENGTH = ??????

Hi All,
I'm trying to find the minimum value of a set of data (see below).
I want to compare the lengths of these attribute values and display
the lowest one.
This would be simple if I could re-assign values to a variable,
but from what I gather I can't do that. How do I keep track of the
lowest value as I loop through? My XSL document...

Hi,
I am attempting a bulk copy from a c program into SQL Server 2000 using
DBLib in freeTDS 0.63 RC11 (gcc 3.4.3, RH 9). I am getting an error message
that I cannot find any documentation on.
The server is sending back the following: "Received invalid row length 2
from bcp client. Minimum row size is 4."
I know the row is longer 2...

Hello All,
Can I validate the minimum length of a field using any of the existing
validators?
I searched google on this subject and found people offering custom
controls for this.
However, for such a little thing it will be an overkill to bring in a
3rd party custom control. It will be great if I could use any of the

Hey,
Currently I'm writing a VB.NET/1.1 app and I need to mask the input for
the password field. Does anyone know how to do this in VB? I've seen a
C# example, but wouldn't know how to convert it myself. Here's the URL:

Hello everyone.
I am working on a Password Strength Meter and I am running into 1 problem that I would like to fix.
When pressing the "Clear Password & Try Again" button, the password clears out of the text box, but the meter will stay at its current position until text is entered back into the textbox. Once text is re-entered, the meter...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...
