master page - treeview

I'm using a master page for my web app and I have a treeview menu control
for my nav. Everytime I click on a menu option the page flickers when going
from page to page. is there a way to stop the page from flickering and just
have a smooth transition when I click on menu options from my treeview?

In ASP.NET 2.0, is it possible to use a control that's on a Master Page as a select parameter in a content page's datasource control? For example, the Master Page has a drop down list of Departments. Content pages are various Department reports listed in a TreeView control on the Master Page. From the content page in the VWD Configure Data Source wizard (which I love!), I was disappointed when adding a WHERE clause that the Control ID list...

Hello all, I'm very new to all of this. I have a theme and a skin (the standard ones). I have a standard master page which is holding a custom ascx which has a treeview in it. Can someone please point me in the right direction to bind a theme to the treeview? The 'theme' tag is on the <%@ page %> directive... however neither my master page or ASCX files use this. They use <%Master%> and

Hello all, I'm wondering if someone can help me with an issue. I have a master page that has a treeview control on it (inside an ascx file). Also on the master page I have a content placeholder which contains the various pages of my application. I wish to have the treeview control displayed at all times during the application.

A treeview control should be able to select various aspx pages in the site. (using sitemap) One content page will have a gridview, accessed through a content place holder while another aspx page will contain a report viewer, accessed through the same contentplaceholder. At least that is how I understand it. If I want the master page to contain a button to create an excel file from the gridview contents, how do I access the gridview on...

Hi, I'm having an issue with the ASP.NET 2.0 Treeview control and persisting its' state accross requests. My Control is embedded within a master page and is used for site navigation. My problem is that the user wants to know which page they are currently on and therefore I need to highlight the selected node. The problem is I lose state whenever the user selects a node and is redirected to another page. Thanks in advance

I have a master page that contains a simple treeview populated using a SiteMapDataSource so the data is static. Here is my problem. When I expand the menu to show the 2nd level treeview items and then click on one to move to the selected page, when the new page is displayed the treeview has reverted back to it's original non-expanded state. What is the best way to maintain the expanded/collapsed state of the master page treeview while...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
