I think that everyone who told me that my question is irrelevant,
in particular Mr. David White,
is being absolutely ridiculous. Obviously, most of you up here
behave like the owners of the C++ language. A C++ interface
installation IS ABOUT THE C++ LANGUAGE! The language
does not possess the ability to handle even simple file directory
manipulation.
Those wise people that created it did not take care of it. So, BOOST
is a portable...

Hello,
I have a query regarding definition lists. Is it good practice
semantically to use the dt and dd elements to mark up questions and
answers in a frequently asked questions list, or FAQ?
Here is an example of just such a usage:

I've written several survey systems in which the majority of the questions
have the same or similar responses (Yes/No, True/False, scale of 1 - 5,
etc).
But this latest survey system I'm working on has 8-10 sections, with a
variety of question attributes and answer scales. Some items have just a
description and require a Yes/No answer, others have a description and an
active status and require a Yes/No and price answer, some require a...

Hello everybody
in a quiz I had a question about dangling pointer:
"What a dangling pointer is and the danger of using it"
My answer was:
"dangling pointer is a pointer that points to some area of ram that's
not reserved by the program. Accessing memory through such pointer is
likely to result in core dump (memory access violation)"

I am creating a database with a yes or no answer for question 1.
Based on that answer, (if they answer yes) they will answer question
2, then three....However, if they answer no to question one, I want
them not to be able to answer question 2 at all.
Ideas?
Thanks so much!

In the statement "a *= expression" is expression assumed to be
parenthesized ? For example if I write "a *= b+c" is this the same
as "a = a * (b+c)" or "a = a * b+c" ?

I want to add the security question and answer security feature to the
ChangePassword control. I am aware that this functionality is built into the
PasswordRecovery tool. I have implemented the PasswordRecovery with a
Password reset required; a temporary password is sent to the account on
file. I want an extra layer of security to accommodate the very unlikely
contingency that someone's e-mail account is compromised. Challenging with

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
