Hello,
How do you change the color of the gridlines in the GridView control? I
have tried changing the following, but only the border changes to black, but
the grid lines stay a light gray:
BorderColor="#000000" BorderStyle="Solid"
RowStyle-BorderColor="#000000" RowStyle-BorderStyle="Solid"
GridLines="Both">

I have a gridview control. In this grid view there is a column for the
price of an item. Some of the prices have a dollar sign in front of it and
some dont. How do I get rid of the dollar sign if it is in front of the
value? My guess would be to use a template column but I dont know how to go
about this. Any ideas?

I've chosen to implement the "optimistic concurrency" model in my
application. To assist in that, I've added a ROWVERSION (TIMESTAMP) column to
my main tables. I read the value of the column in my select, remember it, and

I have a gridview control with a bound field as outlined below. The problem
is that the formatting is not happening. The data gets rendered as
12999.0000. It is being stored in a decimal data type. Any ideas?

I have a dropdownlist in a GridView ItemTemplate. I need to bind the ddl to
an SqlDataSource, then have a value from a boundfield in the row be passed as
the keyfield for select where clause. Im trying to load the ddl with a list
of dates from another table keyed on GridView row field that only apply to
this row.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How do you enable a check box in the GridView. I selected Checkbox Field in
the Columns of the GridView, and the check box shows up in the Grid view, but
it is disabled. How do I enable it so I can check/uncheck it. Also, what
event do I use to check it for a value? Any articles out there?
