Does anyone have any experience developing applications which might be used
in non english speaking countries , even Japan.
I may have to get invloved in this and was wondering where I can find
experienced people to give me some pointers advice or point me to good
resources, tips, any help is appreciated.

Also, if your application is using SQL Server make sure you use the
nVarChar, nChar, nText.. and not VarChar, Char, nText otherwise you will not
be able to store some languages.

We migrated some of web applications to a new server. When the server
was installed, the regional setting was EN-CA, later on we found culture
display was not same as from original server (which was EN-US), we reset
server's culture to EN-US.
Now we have 2 web applications still behaviouring as EN-CA setting. It

I was wondering if anyone here has experience of making Web applications
that are multi-lingual? The solution that I have in my head is to have
several "language" files as resources so that there are no hard-coded
strings within my class library, but I'm not sure how to start.
