How do I detect when the font size has been changed (especially by user action: either Ctrl+Scroll wheel or View/Text
Size)?
This is just for use on IE 5.5+, but it would be great if there was a generic solution.
Thanks,
Csaba Gabor from New York

call out a stylesheet. If the user has a 800x600 display the fonts are
really too big.
Since screen resolution is a function of the client and I have this
javascript ot detect the srecc size:
function ck_res()
{
if ( (screen.width != 1024) && (screen.height != 768) )

Basic question, is this possible?
I have managed to crib a javascript function that allows the user to
increase or decrease the font size of a page. (see
http://www.northamptontoday.co.uk/ViewArticle.aspx?SectionID=317&ArticleID=867063
for example. A+ A- in top right).
A div id is used to apply the function to text within that id.
My problem: I am working with a large intranet, all of the page

I have the item below at the top of my style sheet. And it seems that
the font-szie is ignored. I know that my linked style sheet is being
read, and used because if I remove the font-family line, the font
changes. But it appears that no matter what I do with the font-size,
it is ignored, and I cannot figure out why!
Any clues? At the very bottom is the entire style sheet, just incase
anyone comes accross something that they feel is...

I have a gridview that's being populated from an access db query. The
problem I'm having is that the date/time fields in access that are
populating the gridview are showing both date and time, when the field
should only be showing one or the other (date or time).
Even on the back end of the database where the column properties are, I
have chosen the smallest date/time formats. When the aspx page runs, it
shows the date and time (ie:in a...

Hello,
I have developed a script that change the font size in css, but only
the attribute "font-size" on the body tag, not change the entire
active stylesheet.
When i click to change the size
<a href="#" title="Change Font Size"
onclick="cambia_font_size(2);">A</a>

I think what I'm trying to do is simple.
I have a 2 buttons on a page. 1 button allows a thread of messages to be displayed, the other button collapses that same thread. Works fine.
I was asked if I can just make it one button.
I've played around with a few java scripts. they seem to all work fine until i put my added codes in the text line...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
