Web application doesnt work in 2005

I have been working in vs2003, but now started to work in
vs2005 but the problem,
I have simple web application not website, which work i mean open in
browser when we press F5 or run the application by pressing run button.
but it doesnt work when we type the path directly in the browser's
address bar eg. http://localhost/testapplicationdefault.aspx
error it gives is "COULD NOT LOAD testapplication ._default". IN
default.aspx.
While in 2003 this work fine.
Why is this happening, and while i create website in http it doesnt
allow to debug the application.ie it doesnt work when i press F5 or try
to run by pressing run button.
Can any one give me the solution.

Thanks
Prajesh Shrestha.

Hi I am developing a Dot net application (involving image processing) on a uni processor. It works well on my machine. I then take all my code on a multi processor, build and run the application there. There is performance degradation. The usual performance of the application on MP machine is better than that of uni processor machine. But the performance of MP degrades when it comes to the multi-threaded part of the application. I am...

Hi, I have just used the import Wizard to import a VS 2003 app to VS 2005. I have a lot of work to do to enable it to compile successfully with all the errors and warnings it gave me, but as a starting point the compiler can no longer find the function as at the bottom of this posting, that was in the Global.asax.vb file. All the function does is give an easy / quick way of getting the application

I have been having some fun learning and using the new Controls and methods in .Net 2.0 which will make my life in the future easier and faster. Specifically the new databinding practises and wizards. But, I have found that trying to do something "outside the norm" adds a rather large level of complexity and/or data replication. Background I have been commissioned to create a web-based application for a client. It has a formsaunthentication...

Hi, I have just written (my first) VB.net app using MS Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition Beta. It is fairly simple, it reads some configuration data from an XML file then opens a new window containing a WebBrowser object. This all works fine and I'm happy with my app so I want to 'publish' to a setup file so that others can install it, but when I publish it a get the following errors:

We are on VB.NET 2005 using sql server 2000. We are on the verge of a major application development project. We are looking for an application framework, We have looked at several, Mere Mortals, VBexpress and PDSA (Paul Sheriff and associates) application Framework, and R. Lhotka (CSLA.NET). But not many people have talked about application frameworks on the newsgroups. Should we even buy one, are any of them any good?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
