Single user control

Hi,

I have written an user control (UserControl) and i would like to allow
only one instance per page to be instantiate by its type.

Do you know what is the best method to achieve this? It has to work in
both the statical and dynamical loading scenarios.

My company is about to begin working on an ASP.NET application. There are going to be two primary developers working on this project. It will be a fairly deep project (lots of lines of code) but not a very wide project (pretty much limited to a few purposes, not many ways to split it up). I've done alot of ASP.NET development before by myself...

I'm converting a section of our website into the .NET framework (the rest will follow sooner or later). I'd certainly like to maintain all the dynamic capabilities as well as implement some new features - some are database driven, others use the lookup object and application object string/arrays. My question is, how should I go about...

I'm trying to get a feel for what most people are doing or consider best practice. Given a mod_perl application talking to a PostgreSQL database on the same host, where different users are logging onto the web server using LDAP for authentication, do most people 1) have the web server connecting to the database using its own user account...

I've been trying to learn arrays, and I was wondering how one would go about making a program that would take from the user as many single digit numbers (0 - 9) as the user wants to enter, and then the program would output the number of times each digit was inputted, (and only the digits that were inputted). I've been toying around with this...

Some time ago I needed to write a single-instance app. That's an easy task but I also needed duplicate instances to pass their command line parameters to the first instance so that it can act upon them. I ended up achieving this using Remoting to start my first app, and then call into that Singleton remoted object from secondary instances. ...
