looping through link rel tags in header

Hi

I need to extend the contents of the src element of the <link relcss tags
in the <headsection of my masterpage.

From code, how can I access the <link elements within the <head?

Cheers
Dan

Hi Dan,

Just set the link element's id and runat attribute:

<link id="header1" runat="server" />

and you can access it in code:

header1.Attribu tes.Add("rel", "Stylesheet ");
header1.Attribu tes.Add("type", "text/css");
header1.Attribu tes.Add("href", "Default2.css") ;

If you need to change the link element of the master page from a content
page, you can use following steps:

1) Create a public function in the master page to change the link's
attributes
2) If the markup of the content page, add following:

<%@ MasterType VirtualPath="~/MasterPage.mast er" %>

3) In the content page's code, use this.Master to access the method.

I joined this ng and tried to post my first message that had a small php code (HTML and all). my newsserver aioe.net rejected the post saying "HTML Tags". My message was in text format, not in html format, but it obviously had html tags. Now, a php or a perl/ cgi or a javascript ng is always going to had html tags in posted messages. What is the point in not allowing Html tags?

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
