Using Rational Rose 2003 with .NET

Has anybody used Rational Rose 2003 for designing .NET applications??
Are there any Add-ins that are available for download that I can
install on to my rational rose installation that will provide me the
framework relavant to the .net code .... all I see on my rose
installation is add ins for java, j2ee, oracle, also visual studio 6.0
and mfc

Currently, there is no rational rose plug in I know of for .NET. There is a
new product (XDE) for the .NET Framework.

MS, in the Team Architect version of 2005, has some of the same type of
designers (not true UML). XDE folds into VS .NET 2002 or 2003 and is a lot
like Rose (actually better, as it round trips much better). Good luck!

Yeah, I have seen the designer and code skeleton generator on VS.NET
2005 ... definetely very impressive ... tooo bad cant use it for this
project since its a .NET 1.1 implementation on VS.NET 2003 ... dont
think my company has any XDE licenses either .. soo its either Rational
Rose or Nothing ....

Hi, I am using the .NET to develop a Classic COM Server using both of the CCW and the RCW. That COM server is used as an add-in in Rational Rose 2000e. However, upon the first call to the COM server the rational rose can't close by anyway. And any second call to the COM Server is actually carried out using the same parameters that were used in the first call. No matter what sequences lead to change those parameters. If you could give...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
