I have a GridView bound to an ObjectDataSource. I have a Button that calls
GridView.DataBind. I want the row that is selected before the DataBind to
still be selected afterwards.
This happens automatically if the data doesn't change. But if records have
been added or deleted then it looks as if some code is necessary: I've done

How do I find out the row index selected in the gridveiw row command method?
I have an imageButton in a gridview cell and its corresponding code in the
row command method needs to know the row index in question in order to set
the background of the cell to a different color. But the selectedIndex value
doesnt return a value as expected.

I have a main page that uses the .net 2.0 menu control with the multiview
controls as the menu choices. This works fine. One of the menu choices

Hi I have a gridview with one of the columns as a template column with a
