Hi,
Any help with this would be really appreciated!
I'm trying to download a file from a remote server. The access
permissions is okay but the problem I'm facing is that the file is
getting downloaded before the Save As dialogue appears. As we will be
downloading some large files, it's unpractical to have this.
So far the code I have to download the file is

I am not sure if this is more of an expert question, but I am sure that they
are out there.
I'd like to setup a general application or bin directory on my Win2003.Net
Server that will hold some useful utils that more pages on that server can
use.
As an example, I have created a Page Counter class that opens an Access .mdb
file, counts the current entries for that page, and adds a new entry with
some information regarding the current...

Hi there: a bit of a left-field question, I think.
I'm writing a program that analyses image files downloaded with a basic
crawler, and it's slow, mainly because I only want to analyse files
within a certain size range, and I'm having to download all the files
on the page, open them, get their size, and then only analyse the ones
that are in that size range.
Is there a way (in python, of course!) to get the size of images before
or...

Hi,
I'm currently building a little web site for me and my friends where we
would like to be able to post big files (10Mb to 250Mb approx.) Right now
the ASP.Net UploadFile control can't do it as we are limited 1) by the
MaxRequestLength (4Mb) and 2) with big files (such as 250Mb) the server
crashes because it only uses memory to cache the upload...
Is there an easy way to develop an HTTP Module to handle the upload (links,
tutorials,...

Please help!
This MIGHT even be a bug in PHP!
I'll provide version numbers and site specific information (browser, OS,
and kernel versions) if others cannot reproduce this problem.
I'm running into some PHP behavior that I do not understand in PHP 5.1.2.
I need to parse the HTML from the following carefully constructed URI:

Sorry i know this is rather large to be posting, but in order to understand the question you have to see all the code

#include <iostream> //needed for in/out commands ie. cin/cout
#include <fstream> //needed to open readable/writeable files ie. ifstream/ofstream

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development projectplanning, coding, testing, and deploymentwithout human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
