Dynamically Selected "Group By" for Crystal Reports in 2005

ASF
Is it possible to create a crystal report graph in which a user selects
some parameters---a date range for instance--- AND the table field that
they wish to "Group By" then hits the submit button and CR displays the
graph on the webpage *Grouped By* the user's selection?

In SQL terms, I'm trying to place a parameter in the Group By section
of a select statement. Only problem is that CR in VS 2005 seems to want
to establish the Grouping Order for the graph at design time and not at
run time.

Your help is gratefully appreciated.

Before i post actual code, as i need a speedyish reply. Can i first ask if anyone knows off the top of their head, if there is a likely obvious cause to the following problem. For the moment i've reduced my form request to a simple text string entry, instead of my desired optional parameters. As i have been stuck with a single unfathomable glitch for over a year. Basically, if i enter queries such as ; "select * from table" "select * from...

What would be the most efficient way to serialize a group of the same objects? For example, if I have 10 Organization objects I want to return from a WebMethod in a "container", what type of container would be most efficient (ArrayList, Collection, etc.)? It is a requirement that the container be dynamic in size and be able to add each object dynamically. Also, if an ArrayList or something similar is used, is there a way to have the root...

Hi there, Been working on an evolving DB program for a while now. Suddenly I have come across a situation where I need to update a table based on a group by query. For example, I have a table called "students". I need to update a field called "status" on this table for all members that have never attended a class. Class attendance is recorded by another table (which represents the many to

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
