I am trying to Synchronize anonymous users with authenticated uses
using Profile_MigrateAnonymous. However Profile_MigrateAnonymous only
carries information in one direction, for instance, if I delete one
item from the basket in a shopping cart when the user is still
anonymous, the item comes back right after I log out. I would like to
know if is there any way to synchronize both directions so that the
user sees the information in the...

I put this line in <profile><properties> of my web.config:
<add name="UserID" type="System.String" allowAnonymous="true"/>
And created a connection to a database of SQL Server 2000 (developer
edition),
registered it using aspnet_regsql.exe
In server explorer of VS 2005, I can see my database, and profile table,

We have an ASP.NET 2.0 web app which uses Profiles, and want to write a
little WinForms app to administer sections of the site.
In a little prototype, I was able to utilize Profile in the WinForms
app! I added this to my app.config:

I have started creating an application where I make use of User Profiles,
to allow users to enter information about themselves. I now find that
I wish I could create an "Administrator" account that will allow the
administrator to change or edit profile data that a user has placed in their
profile. Is it possible in ASP.NET 2.0 to do that? The application is
already
using an ASP.NET membership database.
Thanks in advance...Ed

Is there a way to connect to a ProfileProvider programmatically? I have a
Central Administration site that handles multiple application with different
Membership databases. I have tried googling and have found nothing that
refers to having to connect to a provider. Everybody seems to provide a
default only example. Any help is appreciated.
I would like to do something like this:

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...
