Dear friends,
I am having a hard time understanding how to use a SELECT CASE in ASP. I
have used it in VB but never in ASP scripting.
Scenerio:
I have 2 textboxes on a form that I have to allow entry to one or the other
or Both at the same time. Now I tried to use an If ElseIf but it got too
hard to track, so now I am using a SELECT CASE Statement.

I have a user control being used instead of a frame page. when the user
clicks on a menu item I need to send the ID (integer value) of that menu as
a parameter in the postback of the user control which will be used to query
sql server to repopulate the datagrid in the user control.
I also wrapped the user control in a panel element so I could position it on
the page.
I'm clueless on how to get started with this.

Newbee to aspx needs direction.
We are using an <INPUT type="file" tag to upload a file. We also have a
text field for the user to enter a description for the file which the user
must enter. Server side validation was being done for the description field
having length and if not an appropriate message was written back to the
client. However, in the process, the filename the user enters is not
persisted between server calls...

I have a Web User Control (ascx) - lets call it "My_WUC" - in a Web form. In
that WUC I want have a textbox and a button. I want to click on the button
and open a popup (I use javascript for that), the popup window will have also
a text box and a button. when the User click on the button the value on the
textbox will be send back to the textbox on My_WUC. I hope I was clear off
what I want to do.

I have an aspx page with a data grid, some textboxes, and an update button.
This page also has one html input element with type=file (not inside the data
grid and runat=server).
