Constraint Failing when using Membership.Dele teUser

When I delete a user (either through the API or through the site manager)
I get:

DELETE statement conflicted with COLUMN REFERENCE constraint 'FK__aspnet_Me_ _UserI__0F2D40C E'.
The conflict occurred in database 'DB_68465', table 'aspnet_Members hip',
column 'UserId'.
Anyone have any idea?

The 'FK__aspnet_Me_ _UserI__0F2D40C E' is a foreign key constraint between
the aspnet_Users table and the aspnet_Membersh ip tables.

This might have been a Beta aspnet security database, but it was upgraded.

Thanks,

Hi all, I am using ASP.NET 2.0 Membership system, which is driving me nuts. I have my users, which I create correctly. Then I have a table "Models" which contains models, created by different users. So I obviously need to create a relationship between the users and the models. I wanted at first to create a relationship like I'm used to do it, that is to add an int field to my Model table that would be a reference on the primary key of...

Hi, I've created a .net 2.0 web app that uses Sql Server 2005 express as its backend. I used microsoft's database tool to create all of the membership, roles, etc. need for my website. Everything is working fine except when I try to delete a user using the Membership.DeleteUser(username as String) function. The error I get is: The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "FK__aspnet_Me__UserI__173876EA". While I understand...

Hi all I'm developing a website with Visual web developer in C#. Everything works fine when testing using ctrl+F5. Also, IIS runs ASP.NET pages without any problems. The problem I'm facing now is that standard ASP.NET membership is not working when not using the visual studio testing webserver. I just get the message that logging in has failed. Any suggestions?

Hi, When the application doesn't use Roles, this configuration (web.config) works: <configuration> <connectionStrings> <clear/> <add name="myconn" connectionString="Data Source=.\sqlexpress;Initial Catalog=mydb;Integrated Security=True"

Hi, all.. I'm creating a table with one column of type DATE, non nullable, with a default of the current date. The column syntax I'm using is "THIS_DATE_1 DATE NOT NULL DEFAULT CURRENT DATE" On LUW, the constraint compiles - I insert a row and the date value is inserted with the correct default.

Violation of UNIQUE KEY constraint 'IX_surveyQuestions'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.surveyQuestions'. This might seem like a simple matter of trying to insert a row with ID=20 when there's already one with that ID, but the problem is a bit more complicated. The table is supposed to auto-increment the value for the primary key when a new record is inserted. But no matter what I do, I can't seem to insert more than one record...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
