Opening an ASP.NET VS2002 project in VS2003, am getting this error:
"Unable to open Web project 'MyProject'. The file
path 'c:\inetpub\wwwroot\MyProject' does not correspond to
the URL 'http://Localhost:/MyProject'. The two need to map
to the same server location. HTTP Error 404: Not Found."
I have tried fixing this using both of these KB articles and usenet
advises, still problem not solved:

I download a web sample project and put it in D:VbWebSample1
I create a new virtual directory alias as VbWebSample1 with IIS and
the directory point to 'D:VbWebSample1'
I can see all the files in IIS under 'Default Web Site/VbWebSample'
I run the check server extensions from IIS

I am trying to open web project in VS 2003 using the File Share method.
VS is running on XP Pro (Host) and I am accessing the root web of an XP Pro
install on Virtual PC (Server) running on the same machine.
I have the loopback adapter running on the Host. The Host is sharing it's
Internet connectivity with the loopback adapter and the Server is using the
loopback it for Internet connectivity. All the networking stuff is working
fine.

I have a big solution filled with a bunch of projects.
I add a project to the solution (not adding any references mind you).
Now, if I close down everything and try to just open that single
project, just the vbproj file, not anything to do with the solution, it
ends up loading the entire solution!
Why is it doing this, and how can I stop it from doing it?
