Hello All,

Hello,
I have a user control that has one .cs file, with several .ascx files
that call it. The reason for this is that I can pick whichever of the
..ascx files I want (based on a site owner setting), and I know the
code-behind is the same in all cases. That way the .ascx file can be
picked dynamically, allowing the appearance of the page to be changed
based on a user setting.
This was working fine in 1.1, but had the code-behind...

Hello all,
I am trying to override OnPaint in a custom textbox
control (so I can drawstring a caption, etc.). In the
code below, I get the "painting the form" message as
expected, but not the "painting the control". It also
has no effect to explicitly call txtTest.Invalidate or
txtTest.Refresh. Am I missing something simple here?
Any push in the right direction is appreciated.

I decided to use a tab control for my latest project. On Windows XP, the
tab control itself is themed (tabs are themed), but the tab pages and
any controls I put on them are not themed (except for textboxes).
Done a bit of googling on this subject and I found a lot of people with
the same problem, but no real solution.
Has anyone come up with a good way to get controls to appear themed on a
tab page?

Hello,
I have a page which I am converting to use themes. The page has an HTML
<input type="image"> element that is used to post to another page. I
would like to replace this with a server control so I can add a skinid.
I tried adding runat="server" and the skinid to the existing control,
but that didn't work. Any other ideas? TIA

Using VS2005.
When I add a server control to a page in design view, it displays the
following;
Error Rendering Control = <control name>
An unhandled exception has occurred.
'HelpVerb' could not be initialized. Details: 'False' could not be set on
property 'Checked'.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
