I have following code for a slide menu but i twiked it to work for a
single level menu. Open it in a Browser to get a clear picture.
I have 2 Qs
1) How to make first entry as non-link. i.e i want to make first text
as Table Heading/menu category. For examle in the given menu i want to
make a heading as "Comp. Languages" which won't be a link.
2) The position of this menu is absolute to the page. I want to make
it absolute to the Table...

I was able to set tooltips on objects other than main menu.
I would like to get the effect of tooltip or microhelp in the bottom status
bar when the mouse is hovering over a submenu item.
How do I do that?
For example in outlook express, when one expand a main menu item and holds
mouse over one of the enable sub menu item, one would see some sort
microhelp text in the status bar in the bottom

Could someone please advise on the best method to achieve the following.
I want a flat menu which uses images rather than text for each menu item.
All items will have the same image regardless of selected page or hover. To
the left of the menu item I want to display another image (a 6px dot) 10 to
15 px from the menu item; I will use one colour image for the current page

The menu on my site works fine in IE6 and Firefox.
In IE7, there is a problem with the menu: when you mouse over the various main catagories, the sub-catagories all appear to the right as they should; however, as soon as you mouse towards any but the TOP sub-catagory, all those sub-catagories still view there.
It will work first time quite fine..but if user clicks outsite anywhere in screen then this problem occur..
i think it's css...

I am having a weird problem in trying to use a ASP.NET menu inside a
custom web part. I am developing a custom web part that has a menu
inside (just the menu, nothing else). The menu is a
System.Web.UI.WebControls.Menu (ASP.NET 2.0) object. If I add the menu
to a simple ASPX web form, it works nice. However, I am adding it to
