Functionality Testing in ASP.NET web application

How do I do a functionality for a ASP.NET web application? Is there an
automated way to do this? Can ACT do functionality test apart from the stress
tests?

When I make some change to the existing functionality, I need to test the
change as well as ALL the other functions to make sure they are not broken.
What are the best practices followed? Any information is appreciated.

Thank you.

As far as ACT is concerned, it is very much useful for checking your app
performance. Functinioality is subjective. Isn't it? It depends upon
your functional implementation. But, ACT is essentially to check the
performance, round trips etc.,

The functional tests only can be done by manual inputs and checking the
process and its output. Because, no other tool can tell you how
logically your data is processed, manual intervention is needed.

Hello, I don't program full-time (anymore), but I do try and stay on-top of the latest technologies and like most are always trying to upgrade my skills and remain current (as much as is possible). Most of my programming these days involves using PHP for creating script files for automating tasks and procedures (locally), and also for anything that might be needed by our divisional Intranet (not a huge site by any stretch of the...

Question I am posting this question again (3rd time) because some issues with my no spam alias. Here it is the question: I have not been able to run unit tests for a VSTO (2005) project. I have an Excel project and a unit test project in the same solution. I have not found the way to initialize the runtimecallback as required by the code generated

I'm using a simple unit test architecture I found in "Thinking in C++". I just decided I wanted to place some member functions out from public into a protected scope. Problem is that my tests want to access those functions...bummer. What have other people done when faced with this problem or just the general problem of testing functionality encapsulated in a private manner?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
