Bind Nested Gridview after insert

How can refresh the data of a Nested Gridview (Gridview within a gridview).

I use the following script in the code behind file
Protected Sub GVChildUpdate_C lick(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As
System.EventArg s)

GVChild.DataBin d()

End Sub

I get the following error:

Error 1 Name 'GVChild' is not declared.

Why can it not find the gridview?

Thanks

Hi, I have a very frustrating problem that I have researched for countless hours to no avail. There are many posts asking very similar things, however none usefull in my situation. I am using VS 2005 (ASP 2.0) and VB .NET. I have a page with a datalist, a gridview and then other data controls, nested in that order. This all works great, and produces a nice looking page, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to reference

I have two tables I'm editing in a Gridview. The VANS table contains a key to the other LESSOR table. I would like to use a dropdown list to select the LessorId value while displaying the Lessor table's "Company" field as text. When I commit the edit I get error:Must declare the scalar variable "@LessorId". Also as a bonus question ;) I don't know how to set the selectedindex value in the dropdown list based on the LessorId value in the...

I have unbound checkboxes in a nested gridview to allow multi-selection of "child" rows. For context, the parent gridview rows are for large "reports", the child rows are for various specific files comprising each report. I want the user to be able to select an arbitrary collection of report files and have them emailed by clicking an "Email selected files" button. Everything displays properly, including the checkboxes for each child row (each...

Inside the child gridview it displays some text and there is also a textbox where the user can type in something. they then click a button to insert the text into a table in my database. its always seems to be giving me an error saying "Invalid postback or callback arguement" Does anyone have any idea on a solution for this? Any help will be greatly appreciated

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
