Hi,
I'm looking for a way to display semi graphic characters in a multi line
text control or in a rich text control.
I've tried with all the characters of the extended ASCII table (code page

Please help ...
Thanks a lot

Ok.. Maybe I am trying the wrong approach. If given a URL to a graphic, I
want to save that graphic to a local file. The approach below gets the
response, but I can't quite figure out how to save it to a file. In this
instance, a file gets created but it only contains the text
"System.Io.StreamReader" I have also tried writer.write(reader.ReadToEnd),
but the file still displays nothing.
Dim URL As String = GraphicURL

I am trying to print a graphic file (tif) and also use the PrintPreview
control, the PageSetup control, and the Print dialog control. The code
attached is a concatination of two examples taken out of a Microsoft book,
"Visual Basic,Net Step by Step" in Chapter 18.
All but the bottom two subroutines will open a text file, and then allow me
to use the above controls, example 1. The bottom two subroutines will print
a graphic file, example...

I'm looking for a method to plot graphic lines and text for a bracket-like
display with multiple tiers in a browser. I'm familiar with GD for
outputting dynamic graphics, but have never utilized its native drawing
capabilities. Is it well-suited for this task? Any better alternatives?
Thanks.

Hi,
I am just about to write a registration screen for a web based application.
I have seen and used registration screens that show the user a graphic
containing randon text that they are asked to type in a box below the
graphic. I believe this is to stop automaton's automatically creating
multiple accounts without any human interaction.
From memory I think this method is used when registering for a hotmail
account.

Greetings,
Is there a property or method or any code for controlling the aspect ratio
of a form(s)? Example: In Java if you create a form with Panels... when you
stretch/resize the form, all the controls resize and text also resizes to
keep the aspect ratio. In my current form (VB.Net 2005) when I stretch a
form the controls which are docked will resize with the form, but the text
stays the same size.
Is there a way to make a...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
