Hi...
Is there any way to style a List Item a different color and size than
the <LI> in an Ordered List?
I'd like a red super-script number and a dark blue text in a page's
footnotes. And this be done using style sheets?

I'm wondering if it's possible, outside of the declaration of an ASP.NET 2.0
GridView, to programmatically style individual columns. For example, I might
want to make the text in a particular column bold, or larger.
I know that Templates and other declarative mechanisms exist to make this
happen. I'm wondering if you can apply the styling...

I am trying to figure out how to change the gridview caption style, but I
can not figure out how. I added
table caption {
background-color: #5D7B9D;
color: White;
font-size: 16pt;
}

Hi,
I have a gridView (grid1), which as a templateColumn.
In the template column, I have put in a gridView (grid2) and a
ObjectDataSource (objectDataSource2).
Question is... How to I pass the current_row_key of Grid1... to the
objectDataSource2 parameter?
(so that the second grid, gets only the information to do with current row
of grid1)

Right, I thought the idiots at MS had sorted this one out in 2.0 but
alas - no such bloomin' luck.
If I reset the style on my GridView control and just give it a CssClass
(trying to be all nice, modern XHTML 2.0, pure CSS, no HTML styling -
you know the stuff that's been rammed down web developers necks by the
W3C for the last 5 years) and...

Hi,
I am having a problem with a control which is caused by a style on the
page which I am not able to trace. If I use the control in a page
without any styling it looks ok. Is there a way to remove/turnoff all
CSS styling inside a div?

Hi all,
I hope this doesn't sound like a lame question, but I want to override
Gridview.Render so I can strip out ALL styling elements and use CSS
for my styling. I am pretty sure I can figure it out, if I could just
get at the code that is currently called by GridView.Render. Can
anyone help me out?
Thanks,
Jason

My basic style sheet has a distinctive background and border for forms,
to make the structure clearer and to make it visually evident what
belongs to a form.
However, as people complained that some forms were odd-looking, I
noticed that indeed, fairly often the background is not applied and
there is empty space inside a form I didn't ask...

I have a GridView which is populated by List<ofObjects>
Does anyone have example of how to sort the columns of this GridView?
I have found examples without DataSourceControl but these use DataTable, I
am using List of Objects.
Here's one example:

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
