Hi!
We are experiencing a problem with running an .aspx page inside an
iframe. The .aspx page is loading perfectly the first time (on load),
but when we try to interact/navigate within the .aspx page (press a
button/calendar control e.g.) the response is loaded in a new separate
browser window.
What we want is that the .aspx page is preserved and running inside
the IFRAME, not only on load, but also when the user tries to interact

I am creating an application where I would like to give web designers the
ablity to create a static html page and dyanamically load it into my
application(exactly like loading a user control into a page). Is there an
easy way to do this or do I need to stream the html into my application and
parse unwanted header/footer info before rendering it within the application
page (as a literal control, i imagine)
Has anyone done this or seen any...

Hi All,
I have a web application who's index.htm page is a frameset containing 2
frames (Frame1 & Frame2). I have each frames SRC property set to an aspx
page. I would like to re-load the aspx page in Frame1 when a button is
pressed on the aspx page in Frame2.
Can this be done?

I know this has probably been asked before, but I can't seem to find a solid
answer in any of the archives. First, before my question, please forgive my
limited knowledge of the event lifecycle and page loading/rendering
lifecycle....
Ok, now for the question:
I have an ASPX page (page.aspx), and I have a UserControl (control.ascx).
The UserControl has one textbox on the control, and one button control.
I have added a public property...

We have a page that is loading very slow. There is not a lot of data, not a
lot of users are connected at the same time and the page does not produce an
error, so I am not sure where to start to look for why it is slowing down. I
thought about the DB first and added NOLOCK to a couple of stored procedures
that were being run, but with no effect. Can someone offer some tips on where
to start looking or how I can begin to diagnose this...

I have an application developed using IIS 5, and the 2.14 version of the .net
framework and SQL 2005. When deployed to two different servers, the pages all
display properly when using the address
http://localhost/mywebapp/default.aspx. If I replace localhost with a DNS
name, the pages will not display... I get a "Internet Explorer Cannot display
this page" message. In reviewing the IIS log files, all of the response codes
are 302...

Hello,
I am working on an ASP .NET application in Visual Studio 2005 and running
IE7.
This application has a page that contains an iframe which loads an .aspx
page and hyperlinks that load the iframe with different .aspx pages. The
HTML/mark up for the .aspx pages executes every time, but the Page_Load
events for the pages never run (on initial load or subsequent loads).

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
