CSS Editor in visual studio 2005

Hi,

I know that visual studio 2005 has built-in CSS editor. I have the following
code in my aspx file at the <head> section:

<style type="text/css" >

<!--

BODY { background: url(foo.gif) red; color: black }

.note { margin-left: 5em; margin-right: 5em }

-->

</style>

How can I edit the <style> area by using VS2005 CSS editor?

Thanks,

Max

I suggest putting your CSS in an external stylesheet. I know the CSS bits
work there.

Hi Max,

The Style Builder in Visual Studio 2005 can only be used to edit styles in
standalone stylesheet files or edit controls¡¯ in-line style. Regarding
your issue, you can either:

1. Create a temporary stylesheet file and use Style Builder to work on it.
Then copy the content into webform.
2. Create a standalone stylesheet file and create a link in webform:
<link rel="stylesheet " href="default.c ss" />

I am trying to create a DLL in Visual Studio 2005-Visual Basic that contains custom functions. I believe I need to use COM interop to allow VBA code in Excel 2002 to access it. I've studied everything I can find on COM Interop and .NET. I've also tried many of the 'Walkthroughs' on the MSDN site relating to COM add-ins, .NET and Office XP but am unable to get even these working in Excel 2002 or Word 2002. I've installed the Office XP...

I have a 2 form project in VS2005 that now hangs whenever I try to do anything with the second form. This seems to have started when I added some SQL tables from a Pervasive v.9 database using the Pervasive ODBC driver. The devenv.exe process hangs and will not respond with about 50% cpu usage and about 100 megs of memory used. I am running it on an Athlon 64 bit dual core with 32 bit Windows XP pro. I have 2 megs of memory so I don't...

Visual Studio 2005 recently stopped generating the *.designer.vb files for my *.aspx and *.ascx files. I am using Service Pack 1, and do not believe I did anything differently than normal prior to this happening. Is there anything that could have caused this? Does anyone know of a way to fix it? Thanks. -- Nathan Sokalski njsokalski@hotmail.com http://www.nathansokalski.com/

Visual Studio 2005 unexpectedly stopped generating the *.designer.vb files for *.aspx and *.ascx files. After a few days of frustration trying to fix this, I noticed that it had the following Warning in the Error List tab at the bottom of the screen: Generation of designer file failed: The relative virtual path '?/' is not allowed here. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
