HI. in asp.net app, I have an xmlDocument that I transform to the client
html. Using xsl I create a few textboxes to capture user input. Each of
these are related to <data> elements in the xmlDoc.
I want to use the Forms collection to post the html form back to an
asp.net page, and process each request.form object (textbox) via an xml
node.value update.
For any given xmlDocument there is an unknown number of items resulting

I'm trying to create dynamic controls in ASP.Net. It's driving me
nuts. I keep getting the error:
Control '16' of type 'RadioButton' must be placed inside a form tag
with runat=server.
Dim Place1 As New PlaceHolder
Controls.Add(Place1)
For y = 1 To Choices.RecordCount

I have a master page which contains a general page framework and also
contains a <form runat=server> around most of the content of the page. Inside
that <form> tag is a ContentPlaceholder.
I then create an ASPX which is tied to that MasterPage and in it a put a
bunch of form fields and an <asp:Button />. When I try to run the page, I
get...

In ASPX 2.0 with MasterPages and all that, my entire page only has one actual
<FORM>. But there are several different sections of the page that provide
what are functionally separate forms with separate Submit buttons.
In basic HTML, I can have multiple forms on a page and the browser knows
that if any of the fields for Form A have the focus, then pressing ENTER will
send a Click to the submit button for Form A. Same for Form B, etc.

I have an ASPX page that needs to use a FORM. However, it's master
page already has a FORM element, which prevents the ASPX page from
using its FORM element. I'm not doing anything special on the Master
page. The FORM element was there when I added the Master page. Is the
FORM element on the Master necessary or how do I get around this
situation?
Thanks,
Brett

Hi,
I have an asp.net 2.0 page that has two sections. Each section allows the
user to enter a value into a text box, click a button and then perform some
function. Each text boxes function is different to the other and takes the
user to a different part of the web site after doing some SQL work
I have placed a form tag around each of the text boxes section. Each has a
different 'form id', however when i try to execute the web site, it...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
