What would you suggest I do for the following problem.
I want to make an application (vb.net or c#) that has a picture of a
dartboard and you can click on certain cells of the dartboard.
I am wondering what the best way to determine where on a dartboard the
user clicked. An image map or custom buttons for each cell.
if image map how would I map out the cells?

Hi all,
Does anyone know of a decent code generator that would take in the details
of the variables I would like my class to have and then make the property
accessors from that information?
It seems I spend ages at the begining of a project just writting that same
old very elementary crap :-)
Thanks all

Hi all,
How can I get a reference to my custom profile provider in my .aspx page? I
have looked at httpcontext.current.profile. But from there where do I go?
Ideally I would like to be able to get default profile provider without
having to know the "name" configured in web.config.
TIA!

Did anyone got error like that?
When I'm trying to Update WebReference in my project this is an error I'm
getting "Custom tool error: Failed to generate dataset. Undefined data
type: 'anyType'."
The anyType is really a GUID. The problem is its working fine on my friends
computer (they get string insted of anyType) and it complies fine. I even
tried to reinstall VS.NET 2003 but no positive result.
Does anyone had that problem before?

Hi,
I have created the "Hello World" web service with one web method on it
"HelloWorld" (yes the tag is there). I have deployed the
web service to a Windows 2003 server, then I create a new project in
my local pc and try to add a web reference to the "Hello World" web
service and I get the warning message:
Custom tool warning: DiscoCodeGenerator unable to initialize code
generator. No code generated.

I need to add a reference to a custom component in a web service. I created
a new web service using VS2005 but there was no place to add a reference in
the Solution Explorer. I could use Notepad to create the web service but
I'd prefer to create it in VS. What do I need to do? Thanks!

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
