As well known for <IMG ...> tags in web pages a width and a height attribute can be
applied. What I want to do now is to fix the width for ALL the images on my web page
to exactly lets say 70 pixel regardless how big the originals are.
The height should be adjusted proportional so that the resulting thumbnail is not distorted.
But as far as I know there is no such attribute like
<IMG SRC=...... WIDTH=70 HEIGHT="Adjust proportional to...

I've got a problem that requires rendering DIVs at different offset
locations, and while I've got a solution that works, the absolute
positioning is working to the client window, not to the parent
container.
The stuff I write will get placed inside a table cell produce by
someone else's template -- I have no control other than to emit
HTML/CSS within that sole cell.
So, I decided to construct a simple case and am having problems...

Another problem with absolute paths in the WYSIWYG editor I'm putting
together.
The function to toggle between WYSIWYG and HTML modes works except for
one glitch. If you use a relative path for a link, like <a
href="download.htm">Click Here</a>, the editor returns an absolute
path the second time you toggle HTML mode: <a
href="C:\Windows\Desktop\Editor\download.htm" and even adds file:///
on the third try. This path must be manually...

Hello All,
I am fairly new to html authoring and have run into a strange problem.
I have a simple GIF file that is a black horizontal line. As a test
start I am trying to display it twice with the left edge of the second
line aligned with the right edge of the first.
I have set the width of the first line to be 100 pixels with an
absolute position left offset 0. I would think that the correct left
offset of the second line should then...

Hi,
I am writing a pre-handler page for aspx pages, in which I
want to call a custom method on the code-behind class file
for the aspx page.
In order to do this I need to somehow get the class full
namespace for the codebehind aspx page from the request
absolute url that I have in the pre-handler page.

I cannot make VB.Net 2003 compile an assembly that
references a strong name key file unless I put the
absolute path in the Assembly attribute. Is this
correct? If so, how does one handle multi-developers
(i.e. my path will be different than your path)?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
