Hello,
Is there a solution to the following problem :
When filling a listview (30 columns) with around 5000 items, it can take
easily 10 sec for the listview to be filled.
I have used BeginUpdate and SuspendLayout but no speed...

I'm running this on a 2.8 GHz machine with 1.5 GB RAM. (XP machine)
The full suite of VS.NET is installed. I'm running 7.1.3088
Professional Edition.
Initial launch from within IDE took only seconds, but my system froze
almost immediately, and required reboot.
Now, launching from within the IDE is very slow -- 5 minutes -- with
CPU usage maxed out the entire time. And once application is running,
the system goes weird -- task bar...

Hi everyone,
Ok, here's the deal. I have a laptop installed with VS 2005. I'm
programming in C#. When I am at home, connected to my LinkSys router, it
saves fine. However, whenever I am anywhere else, it saves very slowly
(takes about 1 minute), on the same file(s). Any ideas?

I've been experiencing a problem recently where the debugger hangs for up to
ten seconds, even when executing very simple operations (i.e. adding two
numbers). During the hang, a little popup appears in the toolbar saying that
"Visual Studio is busy waiting for an operation to complete" and the IDE is
completely frozen.

I spend most time works on Windows form application and VS 2008 runs at a
acceptable speed.
While I edit aspx file, especially change to Designer View, it seems very
slow.
