URGENT: A Compiled site cannot change the stylesheetTheme ????

Hi,

I have a web site with 3 themes.
once the site is compiled I changing the stylesheetTheme option in the
web.config has no effect!!!!!
I continue to see the theme used at the compilation time instead of the
requested theme.

what's appends?????

I have compiled the web site to allow updates after deployment (like
creating a new theme)

thanks for your help.

Jerome.

I think stylesheetTheme is the incorrect attribute to change.
stylesheetTheme is used by the designer at design time, from what I
remember. You may have to change the Theme attribute on the <pages>
element to change your stylesheet theme.

Set if that works.

stylesheetTheme is the right option and not use only by the designer.
the "theme" option act differently, this option changes more information in
the control.

stylesheetTheme apply only the styles option to the control (like colors,
width etc...)
while "theme" will apply more information to the control, like changing the
databinding formulas, itemtemplates etc...

so in my case I'm using only the stylesheetTheme option.

In a VS2005 ASP.NET project, I'm trying to find a way to change which css file is linked in based on the browser type. I'd like to use one css file for IE browsers, and a different one for all other browsers. I'm using a MasterPage. I added a Literal control to the Head section of the MasterPage, and then in the Page_Load event I set its Text property to set up the desired link, like this: StyleSheetLiteral.Text = "<link...

Here is my situation: I have an aspx file stored in a resource file. All of the C# code is written inline via <script runat="server"tags. Let's call this page B. I also have page A that contains some javascript code that calls window.open. I pass the resource url of page B to Page A's window.open call. Page B is then loaded and executed but none of the server-side code is rendered. If I view the source of the page, the code (and page...

I used to use the Web Deployment Project with my VS2005 projects. Now I've fully upgraded to VS2008. Do I have to download a new version of the Web Deployment Project? If so where can I find it? If not, how do I have to change my deployment strategy? Thanks!

I am studying a bit and I have encountered some reading stuff about skin files, css files and themes in asp.net. To me the name of the StyleSheetTheme page attribute has little a no connection with CSS files, StyleSheets. It's a level of precedence lower then the page attribute 'Theme'. Both attributes refer to the name of a Theme folder that contains skins and css files. But 'StyleSheetTheme' could iqually be named something like...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
