I want our application must run on many browser mainly Internet
Explorer . Problem comes when we are using TreeViews
& menubars on our webpage in IE it works fine but in other browsers it
overlaps other controls , which dosent give
good interactive user interface even some time user cant access
treeview/menu control duto overlaping..
Any one can suggest solution for this i will be thankfull to
him/her....

I get javascript errors when navigating the new asp:treview control.
It doesn't happen allt he time but I click aroudn for a whiel I start getting:
"tree_Data" is undefined
"length" is null or not an object
Similar errors in both IE and firefox.
I ahvent added any scripting of my own or anything "weird" to the tree,

Hello,
I knew how to use the treeview under VB6. After migrating to .NET, well, I'm
lost.
I try to add a new node, either to the same level or as a child to a
selected node in the treeview.
However, either it only add it to the root level or it only add it on level
below, doesn't matter what I select. And in some case, I just get an
exception.

hey guys I found what is causing the problems with my treeview in
Firefox...the answer is: treeview+dropdwonlist in the same page dont work!
try this simple code and see for yourselves. you can do it using the IDE,
just add a treeview and some nodes and add a dropdownlist..then see if your
treeview + and - images switches and also check if your treeview
collapsed/expanded information is maintained between postbacks!

I'm trying to create a treeview with the
Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls.TreeView. It seems to work in both ie and
firefox but I wanted to remove postback events for the checkboxes in
the treeview. I read http://forums.asp.net/556179/ShowPost.aspx where
it says this can be done by modifying the treeview.htc. I did this and
it seems to work in ie.

I have a form that displays hierarchical categories in a treeview. Ok so
far so good. What I was to do is have users be able to select a node in the
treeview as part of filling out the form. I only want to allow single
selection, so using checkboxes is out of the question. It works as is, but
it makes the form very cumbersome if every time that a user selects a node,
the whole page has to reload. Is there a way to have a node...
