Hello Python fans,
I'm trying and searching for many days for an acceptable solution...
without success. I want to store files in a database using BLOB
fields. The database table has an ID field (INT, auto_increment), an
ORDER field (INT, for knowing the right order) and a "normal" BLOB
field. It is planned to split large files in 64k-parts and sort these
parts by the ORDER field.
Here's some pseudo code how I wanted to implement this...

I am trying to write script that is run when a form is submitted. The
form contains an image input field and when submitted, the image is
uploaded, resized and added as binary information to a db table. Please

Below is the exception that Iam getting. It says that the DataView that
Iam storing in the session is not Serializable. BUt works fine if I
store in the inproc session and fails if I switch to storing the
session in Sql Server.
Please let me know if Iam doing anything wrong.

User wants to go this route instead of storing pointers in the DB and the
documents outside.
Only time I tried it was with only MS Word docs - and that was a loooong time
ago - and it seemed to me like there were performance issues at the time.
How about the different types? The MS docs I would expect Access to
differentiate and handle appropriately (i.e. .DOC and .XLS).. but how about
..PDF? and can I stash a .TXT document in the...

I've got a problem inserting binary objects into the postgres database.
I have binary objects (e.g. images or smth else) of any size which I
want to insert into the database. Funny is it works for files larger
than 8000 Bytes. If a file is less than 1000 Bytes I get the following
message:
Error message:

versa. I write my class based on this function I've found on internet
That works perfectly, but when I try to implement it in my own class it
gives me alot of headache, also because I'm totally new to the language.
