Form not refreshing after autopostback unless keyboard or mouse move
Hi,
We created several new ASP.NET C# forms for our intranet. In each form we
use panels for different sections of the form that are visible or not
depending on what the user is doing.
Each particular form.aspx page has a user control on it. This user control
contains the form HTML and the C# code.

I have a relatively long page with a number of webcontrols with
"autopostback" set to true. The contents/items/datasources of the subsequent
webcontrols are dynamically populated depending on the selection of previous
webcontrols' selected item.
My question is : everytime the user selects an option from a webcontrol, due
to the autopostback being turned on, the page refreshes itself to populate
the subsequent controls. The problem I have...

Hi All
I wanted to enable "SmartNavigation" in my site.
For this I put <pages smartNavigation="true" /> in web.config file. So far
so good. But it causes the link from the aspx pages to the css files be
broken.
When an aspx page opens up for the first time, it displayed everything fine
as per the linked css file. But after postback the page is displayed without
any formatting, i.e. as if it could not find the css file.

A web user control exposes a RadioButtonList (with AutoPostBack = true)
called "Question". This control also has an embedded RequiredFieldValidator
control.
1. Main ASPX page is populated with several "Questions".
2. Within the code of the main page, there is a SelectedIndexChanged handler
for the RadioButtonList exposed by Question. The function loops through a
number of questions on the pages and hides/shows questions (control.visible...

I have a web site with 2 pages under W2k3 box (IIS-6).
1. From WebForm1.Aspx.Button1Click, I issued
Response.Redirect("WebForm2.Aspx",true) - This works fine.
2. From WebForm2.Aspx.Button1Click, I issued
Response.Redirect("WebForm1.Aspx",true) - This gave me a 404 page not found.
The above error only occurs if my website is hosted by a proxy (my site is
running SSL cert and the SSL cert is also on the proxy box). However, all
the...

I know this is a bug with SmartNavigation that if your controls have
AutoPostBack = true, the cursor won't come back to the same control. I went
through this article
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314206
But is there another solution to this problem. If yes, Please let me know.
Thanks

I get the following from the link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314206. I need to have both work - the page stays where it is and set focus to next control. Does anyone have solution? I have been working on this for days. I am using ASP.NET 2003. Thanks.

Hi
I have a small piece of code that uses the AutoPostBack feature along side an OnSelectedIndexChanged. When a person clicks a radio button, the page sends the response and then 'does something (depending on what was selected)' - This works fine
However, every time one of these buttons is clicked, the view goes to the top of the page and the user then has to scroll back down to where they were. Is there a way around this? I have tried to...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
