I am trying to verify a datagrid in which there must be an entry in both
columns of any new row, and those values must be greater than the
corresponding values in the previous row. It is pretty simple to verify the
cell the user starts in by invoking a verifying event for the underlying
textbox in that cell, but what I would like to do is to change the focus to

After doing much searching and pinching bits of ideas from here there and
everywhere I came up with a fairly 'clean' solution of including a comboBox
into a dataGrid column.

When we are sorting the DataGrid Boolean column the grid is becoming
redcross.
I have my own PPMIPDataGridBoolColumn class inherited from
System.Windows.Forms.DataGridBoolColumn. In this inherited class I have one

Hi I have a data grid with a hyperlink column. the colum has numbers like
00001,000002, ect. Just wondering how to get the text value of the cell as
tempstring = datagrid.Items(rownumber).Cells.Item(column number).Text
returns a blank string. It seems to work ok for the other columns that are
just regular datagrid columns, not hyperlink types.

I want to display a column in a datagrid such that each item/row in
that column acts as a hyperlink. Further, when I click on the
hyperlink, it doesn't redirect to another page or even to itself.
Rather it "POSTS" pack to itself, and fetches the values in the entire
row into the textboxes displayed on the same page outside of the data
grid.

I have a DataGrid control for which I have also created several new extended
DataGridColumnStyles. They behave pretty nicely, but I can't figure out how
to implement Selected Item formatting for them.
In a plain vanilla DataGrid, when you click on the RowHeader, the
appropriate row changes colors. I ASSUME this should be done in the Paint
(or PaintText) override of the DataGridColumnStyle in question. My problem
is that I don't know...

I successfully autosized the columns and rows on my Datagrid, and am
now facing another issue. Having the sorting ability by clicking the
column headers is key, but when I do that, it resizes all my rows back
to their defaults. I populate the datagrid, resize it accordingly and
it works fine...just when I click the headers is when it messes up. It
would be fine if I could run my autosizing again after the sorting is

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
