Hello,
Does anyone have an idea on how I can filter the data in the gridview
control that was returned by an sql query?
I have a gridview that works fine when I populate it with data. Now I want
to look at that data and filter it based on what is in it.
I know that this could have been done with data sets and data views in
asp.net 1.1 but how is this done now in asp.net 2.0?

Hi All -
I have a filtered GridView. This GridView has a check box in the first
column. This check box is used to identify specific rows for delete
operations.
On the button click event I loop through the filtered GridView to identify
the selected rows and assemble some XML to be sent to a stored proc.
The problem I have is that when looping through the GridView, it doesn't

Hi All,
I have a tree view which has parent nodes of each letter of the alphabet. The root node will be the customers name that relate to the parent node letter.
I also have a gridview which is binded to the treeview control to display all customer records of the selected alphabetical letter.

Hi, all:
I implemented an alphabet list so that when user click letter A then I
will re-bind a gridview control using SQL stored procedure. It works
fine. The problem is I populate my alphabet repeater by select the ini
of name from database. So that my alphabet does not have 26 letters, my
customer does not like it since it may spell something bad. Now I am
trying to display 26 letters, letters that exist in my database will be...

Hi,
I want to implement a client side filter box for a Gridview server control. I dont want to do it server side or AJAX based because the existing architecture does not allow that much flexibility. The only way I am looking at is implementing a client side filter box.
In my case, the filter should only be applied to one particular column value rather than the entire gridview.
If someone has done a similar implementation, please share...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
