Hello,
I am getting the beforementioned error when trying to populate DataSet
object with data taken from SQL2k database. Then I want to bind DataSet
to GridView control. But when I use SqlDataSource object to bind data
from the same database to the GridView everything is ok (using the same
connection string and SqlClient provider). And on top of that I don't
know why does this error refer to SQLExpress??? And it wants to create

Hello,
I'm a newbie here and was wondering anyone could help me with this.
I have a simple ASP.NET 2 web application running perfectly fine with
IIS and SQLServerExpress installed locally on my WinXP as a testing
server (I created the app in Visual Studio.NET 2005).
When deploying this app on the production server (running Win2000
Server, IIS and SQLServerExpress 2005), I'm getting the following

I've come up against a major headache that I can't seem to find a solution
for but I'm sure there must be a workaround and I would really be grateful
of any help.
I'm currently building a web site for a small club I belong to and one of
the features I would like to include is the ability to allow users to upload
image files.
unfortunately the servers web root www folder only allows READ and EXECUTE
permissions, which makes it...

First off, if this is better posted in another group that qualifies as a
manged group, please let me know.
I currently have an application written in VB.Net using MSDE as the
database. Current install is via InstallShield. As I've just found out
that MSDE is not supported under Vista, I need to migrate to SQLExpress. I
am also potentially interested in migrating to using an installer built in
Visual Studio.
I have a few questions:

Hi,
I wonder if someone could shed some light on this one for me.
I have developed a web app in VS2005 with the built in server. It uses an
sql database, everytihng works.
I need to test it across the network, so i've installed IIS7 on my Vista
machine and created a new website, point at the website's directory. After I
switched to the 'Classic .net' app pool, it shows up on the port.

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
