Hello all,
I have simple function that I call from an alert box
alert(testScore);
It works fine. Unfortunately, I do not like the sound and Exclamation
point icon that appears. I'd like a nice message box like VBA message
box #64 to appear. I know hardly anything at all about VB or VBA.
But, I do know you can call a VB function from Javascript. How? Is it

This is a restatement of an earlier post that evidently wasn't clear. I am
building a custom MessageBox dialog that has, among other things, a few new
button options (yes to all, no to all, etc.) and would like to make the
dialog look and act like the standard MessageBox. Therefore, I would like to
put in the message section the same type of icons found in the MessageBox
dialog, such as MessageBoxIcon.Exclamation. In another post here I had...

being displayed on the screen.
My code is still poping up the messagebox even though it is on the screen.
What am I doing wrong here. Any suggestions on how to fix this
using System;
using System.Collections;
using System.ComponentModel;

I'm having a strange problem (or at least it seems strange to me) trying to
display a MessageBox in a VC++ .NET forms application.
If I put the call to MessageBox::Show in the form's .h file, it works just
fine.
If I put the call in the .cpp file, I get the following two errors:
error C2653: 'MessageBoxA': is not a class or namespace name
error C2660: 'System::Windows::Forms::Control::Show': function does not take

Hi all,
Is it possible to create a Javascript messagebox that shows the buttons Yes
and No instead of normal confirm?

I need to attach the following 2 little scripts to an ASP.NET Button. I am
having an issue with running both of the Attributes.Add. I can only get on
to work at once. I have also tried to put them both/either in the page_load,
but cannot get it to work.
TIA,

I would like to call a JavaScript function to execute an alert() in my C#
program. I know you can add a call to an object event, but can you just
call it form code in your C# program?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a method that I use for Javascript validation (see below). What
I want to do is change the alert title, buttons, icon etc. Does anybody
know the correct syntax to do this?
private void Gen_Alert(string Key, string msg)
{
string str = "";
str += "<script language='javascript'>";
str += "alert('"+msg+"')";
str += "</script>";

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
