Changing Password with Website Admin Tool

Using ASP.NET 2.0 Web Site Admin Tool.

Under Security tab it says this:

Click a row to select a user and then click Edit user to view or change the
user's password or other properties.

When I click "Edit user" I do NOT see ANYWHERE to change the users password.
Am I missing something?

Am I blind??? :)

I suppose you have to add your Domain/Local user name here and set password
at the appropiate place(control panel->User account setting or if it's
domain account, Administrator Tools -> Active Directory Users and
Computers). The field matches a user account that's valid to your machine.

I'm trying to change a user's password using objUser.Invoke("setPassword", "newpassword") It works fine as a console application if I'm logged in with someone with the correct permissions. If I'm logged in as a normal user it doesn't work, even though call before that, objUser.Username = "admin@domain.com" objUser.Password = "adminpassword"

When I try to run the Website Administration Tool from my published application using http://localhost/myapp/webadmin.axd I am getting a "resource not found" error message. I can use the Admin tool from the IDE however. I noticed some people referring to a directory called c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\aspnet_webadmin\, which i do not have on my system.

Hi: I'm using VB 6.0 with an Access 2000 database. I set the password in the Access database to: abcdef1234. Then, using a MDIform, during the load event, I send the program to a procedure to get some info out of the database that has been password protected. I use the following code: Public Sub GetSecInfo() Dim secSQL As String, uName As String Dim secRst As DAO.Recordset

Can I use the Website Administration tool to manage users and roles for multiple ASP.NET applications using a single, common ASPNETDB? If so, what changes do I have to make to the web.config files for these various applications to allow authentication from that single ASPNETDB. I'd also like to be able to maintain the users/roles and application access from the web server rather than from my development computer. Right now it seems...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
